Giving back to CDSS

We need you!

Our members are our most important asset. Your active participation as a CDSS member helps us to provide services to groups and individuals throughout the dance and music community. The major portion of membership dues generally covers the cost of membership benefits, such as the News and the Group Directory. Our other programs and services are largely funded through the direct participation of both members and non members in our programs, and the financial generosity of those members and friends of CDSS who make gifts beyond the basic membership fees.

The CDSS office works year-round:

collecting up-to-date info about dances in your area
producing the News, Group Directory, and other useful publications
programming/administering our 11 week-long dance and music camps
running our mail order store
organizing leadership training courses
producing our own books and recordings
reviewing your grant proposals
helping your group keep its tax exempt status/liability insurance up-to-date
answering your queries about dance and song
keeping this website relevant, informative, and up-to-date!
