Joseph Spearing, Commander of the Granadiers of St. Clement's Grounds, was interr'd at St. Alphage near Sion College; the said Granadiers, in respect to the deceased, marched before the corpse with their arms revers'd, the musick playing and drums beating a funeral march, afterwards they made three discharges over his grave. |
