Soissons, Nov. 18. . . . [14 lines] Yesterday Count de
Brancas entertained at dinner all the ministers
plenipotentiary who are here, with several ladies and other
persons of distinction; and that evening the Marquis de
Fenelon gave a sumptuous supper to the said illustrious
company, followed by a ball, which lasted till morning.
Those feasts were given by the French ministers on occasion
of the King's recovery. The Bishop of this city waits only
for a mandate to have Te Deum sung on that occasion.
