London. Nov. 22. Extract of a letter from St. Christophers,
Sept. 3. 1729, gives the following account of the funeral of
the late Earl of Londonderry. . . . [14 lines] The
procession was after this manner. First march'd a troop of
militia dragoons the officers, having gloves, scarves and
hatbands, the drums and standards in mourning. Next march'd
all the militia infantry of this land, the officers having
gloves, scarves and hatbands, the colours and drums in
mourning the drums beating a slow march. . . [44 lines]
