Cork, August 1. This being the glorious First of August,
the shoemakers of our city, being very loyal, made a
handsome appearance on the occasion, they had a company of
horse well mounted, in leather armour, and a company foot in
buff-coats, a company of small boys with size sticks in
their hands, accompanied with Crispin and Crispianus, with
kettle-drums, trumpets and hautboys, &c. and guns firing
from the Brigadiers's garrison, which concluded the day.
