[In a detailed report of action of battle of Guastalla from
French camp:] Our whole army remain'd somewhat beyond the
field of battle, where they found ten pieces of cannon, with
standards and kettle-drums to a great number. Orders are
given for all the picquets, granadiers and dragoons to march
to morrow by day-break, in pursuit of the enemy. We cannot
say too much of the King of Sardinia, who appeared in every
place, giving orders like a consummate general. . .
