Leipsick, October 6. N.S. On the 2d in the afternoon, the
King and Queen, attended by the whole court, arrived here,
with many foreign lords and ministers and yesterday the
anniversary of the King's election to the Polish throne was
observed here with the utmost devotion and joy, under
several discharges of the artillery and small arms. The
houses were illuminated till the morning, and the students,
among whom were four young counts, serenaded the court with
an exceeding fine concert of musick.
