From the Gentleman's Magazine.
A gentleman having made some observations on the life and
conduct of some of Mr. Whitefields friends, writ the
following lines thereon.
See! how these holy self-abasing souls,
Whom the blest spirit with its influence rules;
[ ]! with what watchful industry and care
They labour in salvations great affair:

Enraptur'd (Oh, exalted theme:) to sing
Praises of the World's eternal King;
[ ] angels and arch-angles to rejoice,
And with all Heav'n to join th' hymning voice.
