London, Nov. 7. Last Saturday the Operas began in the Hay-
Market but the principal singer and principal dancer did not
perform. Their was a prodigious audience, & a prodigious
expence; for it is said the whole charge of the Operas, for
six months, will come to upwards of 16, 000l.--- Is not
Britain then in a fine state, when, notwithstanding our
taxes, we can fling away such a sum on a parcel of
squeaking, capering, fiddling Italian Eunuchs, and foreign
Buffoons?
