Mein, hath just imported, a very grand assortment of the
best books in every branch of polite literature, arts and
sciences. . . [6-column ad, including the following:]
   Shakespeare's works, 10 vols.  A new edition, to which is
prefixed, Mr. Pope's preface, Shakespeare's life, by Mr.
Rowe, and Shakespeare's will.  The text of this edition hath
been carefully compared with Mr. Theobald's, Mr. Pope's, Dr.
Johnson's, and other editions of the best authority.  The
notes are chiefly selected from Mr. Pope, Mr. Theobald, Sir
Thomas Hanmer, Bishop Warburton, and Dr. Johnson:  From the
canons of criticism, and from the revisal of Shakespeare's
text.  To the end of most of the plays are added,
Criticisms, by Dr. Johnson. . .
   The Masque.  A new and select collection of the best
English, Scotch and Irish songs, catches, duets and
cantatas, in the true spirit and taste of the three
different nations.  With a great number of valuable
originals interspersed, and a complete collection of the
various toasts, sentiments, and hob-nobs, that are now in
vogue, (ornamented with a very elegant frontispiece,
designed by the celebrated Gravelot, of Paris, and a
Falstaff's head, finely engraved.) . . .
Good Natured Man, a new Comedy, by Dr. Goldsmith.
False Delicacy, a new comedy, by Mr. Kelly.
Clandestine Marriage, by Messrs. Garrick and Colman, one of
the best comedies in the English language. . .
   Psalmody,
Tansur's Royal Melody, with a number of the best hymns and
anthems from Williams,
Knapp's Church Melody.
Knapp's New Set of Psalms and Anthems, with a pastoral hymn
by the famous Mr. Addison set to music by his Majesty's
composer, and performed in the Chapel-Royal.
Arnold's Compleat Psalmodist: or Psalm Singer's companion.
Arnold's church Music Reformed.
--- Leicestershire Harmony.
   Mr. Arnold's compositions in divine music, and his
introduction to Psalmody, are esteemed by the most eminent
masters, the best and most compleat collection of anthems,
psalm-tunes, and hymns, that ever were published; they are
frequently performed in the Cathedral-Church of St. Paul,
London, his Majesty's Chapel-Royal at St. James's, and at
Westminster Abbey, with the greatest applause. . . 
Ladies Memorandum Book, with the new Songs, and two ladies
in the dress of 1768, finely engraved. . .
A new edition of Tate and Brady's Psalms with Hymns very
cheap.
