It is a very sickly time here with the small pox and a yellow feaver, the latter carries off ten to one of the small pox: I seldom have less than two or three of my people sick at a time; some the ships have buried almost all their hands; there is so many buried in a day, that they have left off tolling the bells at funerals. |
