We are told that a very afflictive accident happened [in
the] South End of the town one evening the last week, viz.
Fourteen or fifteen jovial blades having been over to [ ]
upon a campaign, on their return home on a sled, made [ ]
usual a noise by singing and bawling, that a number of
g[entlemen] who were surrounding a tea table,
inconsiderately jump[ed up] to see what was the matter, and
in their hurry overs[et the] table, by which all the china
ware was unhappily broke.
