Last Saturday there was a smart action in the principality of Oneglia, between the Spaniards and inhabitants, supported by some regular troops. About twenty villages rung the alarm-bell. The arm'd peasants fell with so much fury upon the Spaniards, that they were obliged to retire, with the loss of 500 men. |
