London. Dec. 21. Private letters from Paris intimate, that
the young Ch-v----r [Chevalier] is actually incog. in
France; and that the Earl of A-------e [Albemarle], upon
information thereof, having complained to the French
ministry, was answered, that they could not take notice of
any person that kept incog.: That if he made any publick
appearance, they should not fail to send him out of the
Kingdom; but at present all they could say, was, that they
knew nothing of the matter.---If this be fact, it may partly
account for the laying aside the grand preparations in the
Hay-Market.
