Parma, May 21.  We have had a continued rain for three days
successively, which, together with the melting of the snow
upon the neighbouring mountains, occasioned the River Parma
to rise so high, that all the towns of Colorno was
overflowed, and about midnight the alarm-bell was rung to
caution the inhabitants to be upon their guard, and take
care to secure the dykes. . .
