London, May 22. We learn from Tyrol, that they have
actually begun to open there, with great ceremony, some new
mines, which are supposed to be rich in silver, and which
supposition was thought to be so well supported by the first
assays, that Te Deum was sung under the discharge of
artillery and small arms. Vast expectations are entertained
of this discovery, insomuch that the people flatter
themselves their country will speedily become another Peru.
