Citation | BEP(F.756.003 23 Feb 1756:21 (1069 Supplement) Plymouth, Novemb. 11. Lasat Sunday died, and this evening was buried in the military way, Thomas Marshal, a drummer, aged 105. He was a drummer at Tangier in the reign of King Charles the Second, when General Kirk commanded there. He gave out that he had been ninety years in the service, and was the first man who beat the Grenadiers March. |
