Dublin, Apr 26. A glorious spirit hath arose among the
Enniskilliners; the poor being in the utmost distress, and
the forestallers not bringing any provisions to market, the
inhabitants, headed by some of the principals of the town,
on the 15th inst. assembled by beat of drum, went into the
country, brought into and lodged in the market house, 400 l.
worth of meal, barley and potatoes. They act extreamly
regular, leaving sufficient to support the families; the
surplus sold by the clerks of the market, and the money paid
to the owners.
