[para.2, line 14]--By Captain Freeman [who arrived here in
37 days from the Orkneys] we have also the following list of
the loss of the enemy in the Battle of Thornhauses, gained
by Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick, viz. 4000 tents, 484
powder-waggons,. . .  12 standards, 17 pair of colours, 11
kettle drums, 21 stand of arms, 6080 prisoners including 13
generals, of which 3 are Princes of the blood,. . . 122
drums, and 9840 killed.  In all 16 458.  The loss of the
English, Hanoverians, &c. amounted to no more than 3084
killed, and wounded.
