From the head-quarters of the army of the Empire, at
Ranneburgh, Sept. 5.
The 2d inst. arrived here, drums beating, & with 2 pieces of
cannon, 224 men of Col. Labadie's corps, which was called
the Prussian foreign volunteers, and consisted chiefly of
French deserters. This corps was sent from Leipsic to join
Prince Henry's army, but on the road they mutinied, killed
the major and wounded several other officers, and none but
the colonel and a few officers reached that army.
