It is said---that the ORPHAN on Thursday night last, was
neither a credit to the actors or the company; and,
notwithstanding the effect it had on some of the ladies, the
characters were taken off in such a dull and insipid manner,
that none but weak minds could be affected therewith;----and
that the actors are in no danger of incurring the penalties
in the law for preventing theatrical entertainments, as this
could not be any ways denominated entertaining.----
