Positively the last week. This present Monday, August 14,
1769. And on Wednesday and Friday next, Mr. Douglass will
deliver a moral, satirical, and entertaining Lecture on
Heads, coats of arms, wigs, ladies head-dresses, &c. After
which he will read some select pieces from Pope, Dryden,
Addison, and other celebrated English poets. Among the
pieces intended for this evening, an Ode for St. Cecilia's
Day, called Alexander's Feast, or the Power of Music, will
be pronounced. Tickets for admission will be delivered at
the Bunch of Grapes in King-street, and at Green & Russell's
in Queen Street at half a dollar each. To begin precisely at
eight o'clock.
