Fire-Works. To be performed by Felix Fissour, at Mr.
Bardin's on Boston-Neck. Notice is hereby given, that on
Tuesday next, if the weather permits, will be exhibited, a
grand set of fire-works, the like never seen here before,
much superior to the last exhibition. The galleries 5s
lawful money, the platform 2s. To begin at half after 6
o'clock in the evening. Fire-works performed by seven acts.
A most magnificent triumphal arch.----A pigeon on a line
which will communicate fire to the arch composed with grand
illuminations of brilliant Italian candles--diamond and
Chinese fire upon the arch--a spire illuminated with a globe
in the centre.--A girandol adorned.--A representation of a
cistern of water of a new invention, that will go out and
come in several times.--Concluded with a very large bright
shining sun, and a great many other of the most new and
beautiful pieces, too tedious to mention. Musick to be
performed between the acts. The stages will be rectify'd in
order the better to accommodate the company--and a covering
will be over the platform, to prevent the dews falling.
Tickets to be had of Mr. Draper, T & J Fleets, and Edes &
Gill, Printers; also at Mr. Picmont's opposite the
Town-House, and at Mr. Bardin's. To prevent confusion at the
door, it is desired as a favour that the gentlemen and
ladies would be so kind as to purchase tickets the day
before.
