o'clock afternoon, 136 young ladies met at the house of the
Rev. Mr. Taft, in the south parish in said town, and
generously gave him for the use and benefit of his familp
2992 knots of linnen, cotton, tow and woolen yarn, which
they spun out of materials partly found by their minister
and partly by themselves. . . [18 more lines describing

closing prayer being made, a hymn sung, and the blessing
given, they all returned to their respective homes. . . [2
