Friday last was the anniversary of his Majesty's birth day,
when he entered the 36th year of his age; upon which
occasion his Excellency's Troop of Guards, the Regiment of
Militia, with the Company of Grenadiers, and Train of
Artillery, dress'd in their uniforms, with a band of musick;
likewise the Company of Cadets, commanded by the Hon. John
Hancock, Esq; having also a band of musick, were mustered,
and performed their several exercises in the training field,
to the universal satisfaction as well as admiration of a
more numerous company of spectators, both of town and
country, than were ever known upon the like occasion; after
which, the whole march'd into Kingstreet, where vollies were
fired by each respectively.---- [1 more para]
