London. Proclamation of Peace
. . . [99 lines on the readings of the Peace proclamation in
different parts of London. Within the processions are
Drums, Drum Major, Sergeant Trumpeter, Trumpets, City music,
with scarlet laced cloaks, on horseback, Bands of Musick on
Foot, and Drums and Trumpets.] . . . The proclamation was
then read a third time at Chancery-lane, and a fourth time
at the end of Wood street, where the cross formerly stood.
The procession then moved on to the Royal Exchange, where it
was read for the last time.
The trumpets sounded thrice previous to, and immediately
after each reading. . .
