Paris, Aug. 20. . . On the 12th instant, the Brotherhood of
the Knights Travellers and Pilgrims to Jerusalem, caused a
solemn mass to be sung in their chapel, to which the Bishop
of Persiueux assisted; the Te Deum was sung afterwards in
thanksgiving for the King's recovery . . . [8 lines] On the
18th instant at night, the Duke de Noailles, Governour of
St. Germanin en Leye; gave an entertainment and a ball to
several of the nobility; a fine firework was play'd off
after supper, and the company danced till morning.
