By a letter from Capt. Heath, dated Richmond Sept. 29th.
1723. we have the following account, That the 6 Mohawks
(who went from hence to the Eastward) were greatly rejoyc'd
to see the fort there, and well satisfy'd with their
treatment in their passage ; and at their request had a war
dance, in order to march the night following. Being
provided with all necessaries, Ensign Coleby and other of
Capt. Heaths men to accompany them, they set forward up the
