London, Sept. 18. They write from Hereford, Sept. 11. that
great doings were made there the week before, at the annual
Musick Club, singing, horse racing &c. for the view of which
last, scaffolds were erected on Wigmore Marsh, on which
several hundreds of ladies were seated to the best
advantage, who had much better luck than vast numbers of
their other sex, who had placed themselves there next
morning when the buildings fell down, by which unhappy
accident, several persons had their arms and legs broke, and
many very much wounded.
