Onodno, Nov. 22. Extract of a letter from St. Christophers,
Sept. 3. 1729, gives the following account of the funeral of
the late Early of Londonderry [governor of the island]. . .

The procession was after this manner.
First march'd a troop of militia dragoons, the officers
having scarves gloves and hatbands, the drums and standard
in mourning.
Next march'd all the militia infantry of this island, the
officers having gloves, scarves and hatbands, the colours
and drums in mourning, the drums beating a slow march. . .
