From the London Evening Post May 5. 1739. Thursday last the
Right Hon the Marquis of Carnarvan, Grand Master, and the
Right Hon. the Lord Raymond, Grand Master Elect of the
Ancient and Honourable Society of Free and Accepted Masons
attended by several noblemen and many other persons of
distinction, together with the masters and wardens of the
several lodges of that venerable order, went from the
Braundle Head in New-Bond Street in coaches and chariots
thro' the city in grand procession to Fishmongers Hall,
preceeded by musick, where a most splendid entertainment was
provided for the brotherhood.
