Copenhagen, April 28. On the 8th of this month was
performed in the Church of the Castle the ceremony of the
confirmation of the Princess Royal Louisa. After singing
certain hymns, M. de Plessen, Master of the Household to the
Queen, conducted her Highness to the foot of the alter and
then retired with her two ladies of honour. . . [5 lines]
after which being reconducted to her seat in the same manner
as when she approach'd the alter, she there continued till
divine service was over, which ended with a hymn proper to
the occasion.
