To be sold, the owner intending soon for Europe, A universal
single and double microscope, with a solar apparatus, frog
frame, &c. A Farenheit's thermometer, graduated to boiling
water, A large concave morror. A barometer. Two botanick
thermometers on box. A four foot reflecting-telescope, the
largest size, six inches diameter. A new-invented organ in
a mohogony case and frame on castors, the pipes gilt; with
two additional barrels. A beautiful statuary marble carved
chimney-piece and picture; two fine China chandeliers,
fitted with flowers and branches; with three plaister
figures of Shakespear, Milton and Pope. An electrical
machine and two spare globes. A magick lanthorn, with three
dozen pictures. Two large salmon double-wall'd flew nets,
never us'd; one 40 yards by 10 feet; the other 21 yards by 6
feet. Four dozen glass lanthorns and burners, proper to
illuminate a house on publick nights. A large marquie and
walls. A ticking tent, with an alcove at each end, and
lined with a printed cotton, with poles, pinns, &c.
compleat; quite new. A small sperma-caeti press, with an
iron screw, &c. compleat. A pair of double girandoles with
pans and nossels. An air-gun, which discharges ten times
without powder in half a minute. With sundry other articles
for the sterling cost, without any charge of commissions,
freight or insurance: They are all compleat and very little
used.
