1756. Mr. Bridges returns his humble thanks to all those
gentlemen and ladies who have favoured him with their
company, to see his microcosm, which will be shewn till
Thursday the 17th instant, (and positively no longer) and
the price not lower'd as is generally expected in common
shews. Therefore 'tis hop'd all who may be desirous of
seeing a piece so much superior to any thing of its kind,
and so worthy the notice of the most judicious, will be as
expeditious as convenient.
N.B. This machine during its stay, will be exhibitted
every day only at eleven o'clock in the morning, and again
at five in the afternoon, precisely.
[pointing hand] 'Tis humbly hop'd no person will come
without a ticket, which are to be had at Edes & Gill's
Printing Office in Queen-Street, at four shillings and six
pence: And for children under twelve years of age, at three
shillings each, lawful money.
