Boston, July 5, 1756. Proposals for printing a
subscription; Dr. Doddridge's hymns founded on various texts
in the Holy Scriptures.----First printed last year in
England.--Containing about 15 sheets in twelves. The price
to the subscribers will be two shillings & eight pence a
book, common binding in sheep.--Those who chuse to have them
bound in calf and filleted, the price will be three
shillings & four pence.
[pointing hand] Those that subscribe for six, shall have a
seventh gratis.
Eight pence lawful money for each book, to be paid at
subscribing; and to be deducted when the book shall be
delivered.
Subscriptions are taken in by Edes & Gill, in Queen-Street
Boston; by S. & B. Emerson in Newbury; at the Post-Office in
Providence; and at the Post-Office in New-London.
