Newport, August 5, 1757. Jacob Richardson and Company,
hereby notify their customers in town and country, that they
have just imported from London and Bristol, (by way of
New-York) a great assortment of hard ware goods, viz.
Nails, pewter, lead, shot, steel, scyths & sickles,
frying-pans;. . . [8 lines] thimbles, stay hooks, fish
hooks, shears, pen-knives, knives and forks, box-irons,
files and rasps, jews harps, steel saws and hammers; all
kind of locks and hinges, bolts, candlesticks, with all
other kind of ironmongery, foundery, braizery and cutlary
wares, womens damask shoes, with a good assortment of
English peice goods, raisins, currants, spices, &c.
N.B. The above goods will be sold for any sort of money.
Wholesale customers to be supply'd at such rates as to
affort a handsome retail profit.
