Newport, Rhode-Island, April 13, 1758. Imported in the last
ships from London, and to be sold by Wickham and Deblois, a
very full and fashionable assortment of goods, and without
swelling their advertisement to an enormous size, by
specifying every article, from a rushstone to a
jews-harps--or puffing, or quacking, in any shape, their
customers may certainly depend upon being used with the
utmost integrity, whether in person, or by order. N.B.
Ready cash will induce them to sell at a very moderate
profit, perhaps as cheap as those that make extraordinary
promises.
P.S. They import the chief of their goods from the
makers.
