Cambridge, Thursday-Morning, Sept. 12. 1765. Yesterday
morning our congratulations on the great and good news,
began with ringing the College, meeting-House, and church
bells which continued till the bonfire on the Common in the
evening was over.--General Brattle gave an invitation to the
inhabitants, &c. to meet at 12 o'clock in the town-house, to
drink the King's Health, the downfall of the S---p A-t, and
all American that were for it, Mr. Pitt, the new ministry,
