Whereas a person in England, who understands the whole
process of the calico-printing in all its branches, would be
glad to engage with any person or persons, to set up and
carry on a manufactory of calico-printing in New-England,
the lowness of his present circumstances, is the reason of
this application; and as he has been master of his own, 'tis
hoped none will apply but those who are seriously inclined
to encourage so laudable an undertaking. Please to direct
for Mr. William Dent, to be left at Mr. William Harris's,
harpsichord maker, in Fetter-Lane, London.
