Any person capable of teaching the fife, that can be well
recommended, by applying to Capt. White at
Dorchester, of Colonel R. Putnam's regiment, the printer of
the paper, or at the house formerly the Sign of the Ball in
Danvers, will meet with good encouragement for any time they
will engage to teach the musick of the regiment.----Any
likely lads who can play well of the fife, who are disposed
to engage in the Continental service, by applying as above,
will also meet with a kind reception, and an additional
encouragement above what the public gives.
