The late birth of an heir to the crown of France has
occasioned inexpressible joy to that nation --
And as these States are nearly interested in every vent
which increases the happiness of their illustrious ally, the
following particulars, which we have translated from the
Courier de l'Europe, may not be unentertaining to our
readers.

assisted, after the baptism,, at the Te Deum, which was
