Boston, July 1. The anniversary of St. John the Baptist,
being on Monday last, it was celebrated in this town by the
antient and honorable fraternity of Free and Accepted
Masons, which proceeded from Mason's Hall in procession,
with music playing before them, to the chapel, where an
elegant discorse and charge were delivered; the former by
the Rev. J. Elliot, and the latter by Dr. John Warren, to a
crouded auditory: After which a handsome collection was
made for the poor: The brethren then proceeded to
Faneuil-Hall, where a splendid dinner was provided, and
every thing conducted with that propriety peculiar to the
Society. After dinner the following Masonic toasts were
