. . . [London.] By the Queen, a proclamation. Appointing
the distributions of prizes taken, and the bounty for taking
ships of war or privateers of the enemies. Whereas . . .
from and after the [26 Mar 1708] if any ship or ships of
war, privateer, merchant-ship, or other vessel, shall be
taken as prize by any of our ships of war, or by privateers,
& adjudged as lawful prize in any of our Courts of
Admiralty, the flag-officer or officers, commander or
commanders, and other officers, seamen, and others, who
shall be actually on board such ship or ships of war or
privateers, which shall so take such prize or prizes, shall
after such condemnation, have the sole interest in and
property in such prize or prizes, so taken and adjudg'd to
their own use . . . [78 lines] [To the] trumpeters,
quarter-gunners, carpenters crew, steward, cook, armorer,
stewards mate, cooks mate, gunsmith, cooper, swabber,
ordinary trumpeter, barber, able seamen, ordinary seamen,
volunteers by letter and marine-soldiers, two eighth parts,
