London, May 31. Saturday being his Majesty's birthday,
there was a very numerous and most magnificent court at St.
James's to compliment his Majesty thereupon. At noon there
was a drawing room, and at night a ball at both which his
Majesty was present, as were also their royal Highnesses the
Prince and Princess of Wales, and the two youngest
Princesses. The same day was observed in the cities of
London and Westminster, with ringing of bells, bonfires,
illuminations, and other demonstrations of joy, loyalty and
affection.
