This day will be published, the second edition of Mr.
Walter's introduction to the Art of Singing by Note: With
some additions, and the tunes more carefully corrected &
beautifyed than in the former edition, with a table for the
reading finding them.
Also, a second sheet of psalm-tunes in two parts, neatly
engraven on copper, in the easy method of Mr. Tufts's
singing-book, and intended for an addition to the tunes in
that book, in which is contained all such common tunes as
were omitted in the first sheet, and the rest are such as
are esteemed the most excellent now in use, some of them
never before printed here. The whole number of tunes
contained new in this book is 34, with both treble and bass,
(8 of which are long tunes ) which makes the quantity of 84
single trebles, of 4 lines, beside the raising the notes,
&c. Both to be sold by Samuel Gerrish, Bookseller in
Cornhill, Boston. The former for 4 s. a piece single, and
40 s a doz. the latter for 2 s. single, and 20 s a doz.
