On the 26th past, the day appointed for opening the congress here at the town house, the ministers went thither, each with two coaches and a pair of horses, two pages four gentlemen, and eight footmen. Some companies of foot and a troop of horse were under arms in the great square before the town house, the drums beating and trumpets sounding at the approach of every ambassadour. |
