Boston, On Tuesday last the 14th instant, Capt. Crocker
arrived here from London, by whom we have the following
intelligence, viz. From the Whitehall Evening-Post, Aug.
17, 22 & 26.
London, Aug. 17. This day the late royal proclamation
appointing the 4th of October next for the coronation of
their Majesties, was solemnly read, with great pomp, by the
heralds at arms in their proper habits, attended with
trumpets and kettle drums, all on horseback, at Temple bar,
the Royal Exchange, and several other places in and about
the cities of London and Westminister.
