From the Daily Journal, Feb. 12. London, Feb. 12. There
was collected yesterday at St. Paul's Cathedral, after the
rehearsal of the musick, viz. Purcel's Te Deum, and a fine
new anthem of Mr. Green's, for the Feast of the Sons of the
Clergy, from the ladies who were present to hear the
performance, 1537, 4s 3d. for the laudable charity of
putting forth apprentice the daughters of poor clergymen;
which is 10 l. more than was collected last year, on the
like occasion.
