Yesterday the corpse of the Honourable William Tailer, Esq;
Lieutenant Governour of this province, (whose death we
mention'd in our last) was inter'd in Dorchester with great
honour and respect. The bells of this town were tolled from
eleven a clock, till five. The cannon of His Majesty's
Castle William, (of which he was the beloved captain) were
discharged at their funeral distance, the flag being half
rais'd The pall was supported by his excellency Governour
Belcher; the . . . [2 lines] The funeral was attended by a
great number of gentry in their coaches, chaises, &c,. and
abundance of spectators.
