Charlestown, South Carolina, May 27. At North Edisto, on
Wednesday Night last, Mr. Christopher Dennis was kill'd by
two men who came lately from Cape Fear; one's name is
Robinson,, who professes several Businesses, as Butcher,
Dancing Master &c. the other named Michael Cavino, they
having no money, and Dennis refusing to let them have more
liquor, they knock'd him on the head with their gun, and
kick'd him on the stomach, so that he died four hours after.
Capt. Rawlings has sent a hue and cry after them, and we
don't hear they are taken yet.
